17 – The Biblical Principle of Cycles Within Cycles

Structure Principle Demonstrated

• The 7 seals, and SUB-COMPONENTS, of the book of Revelation, beginning in chapter 6 DEMONSTRATE a PRINCIPLE
• For our current purpose, we will set aside the CONTENT of the 7 seals – we will put the trees on the back burner, so we can see the forest
• We will focus on the STRUCTURE
• The structure is derived from a PROCESS
• The process/structure includes ENCAPSULATION/CONTAINMENT
• It is SIMPLE Simplicity does not mean unimportant

7 Seals

Note:

• The “book” (as it is sometimes translated) with the seven seals is actually a SCROLL.
• It is not even possible to release the inner seals of the scroll, without opening the previous seals.
• Each opening of a seal is dependent upon the release of the previous seals.
• They are opened sequentially, in order.
• This is a lesson that will become very important.

+7 Trumpets

Notice:

• The 7^th seal CONTAINS or ENCAPSULATES the 7 trumpets
• The 7 seals are LIKE a week (though NOT THE SAME), that is, a group of 7
• Likewise, the 7 trumpets are also LIKE a week
• The CYCLE or PROCESS of the 7 trumpets are contained within the 7^th seal

+7 Bowls/Vials

Notice:

• Like the 7 trumpets are CONTAINED or ENCAPSULATED within the 7^th seal, the 7 bowls are included within the 7^th trumpet
• INDIRECTLY, the 7 bowls are also included as a part of the 7^th seal via the 7^th trumpet
• Though NOT THE SAME, the PATTERN is SIMILAR to that of a 7 day weekly calendar
• It demonstrates a PRINCIPLE

Framework of The Framework

• What is often called the “Framework of God’s Plan of Salvation” is merely a two dimensional linear process
• The PRINCIPLE of CYCLES WITHIN CYCLES adds additional DIMENSIONS, with various LAYERS/LEVELS/OCTAVES/WEEKS
• The various levels are CONNECTED – UNIFIED, COHESSIVE, WHOLE
• This SHOWS us THROUGH DEMONSTRATION a GREATER FRAMEWORK or FRAMEWORK OF THE FRAMEWORK

IMPORTANT!!!

• We are not directly TOLD about the structure
• It is DEMONSTRATED for us to SEE, OBSERVE, WITNESS
• REPEATEDLY throughout scripture

• This principle is one of the fundamental lessons of the Feast of Weeks
• And also the Jubilee Cycle
• Though covered in prior messages, it may be helpful for you to become more familiar with the Feast of Weeks and Jubilee cycles and, as a helpful exercise, to diagram them for yourself
