Potsticker Sauce
PF Chang’s has a special personal place in my heart, but that is another story. This recipe is inspired by PFC, and is useful in many asian dishes.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon pressed garlic
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 inch finger of finely grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon chili paste – The Korean, used for kimchi works well
- 2 tablespoons finely minced scallions
- ½ teaspoon hot Chinese mustard
- 1-2 tablespoons seasoned rice wine vinegar
Instructions
- Heat water, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, sugar, and ginger to a simmer. Remove from heat.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the warm mixture.
- Transfer to a storage container and chill for 1 hour or until ready to serve.
