We have not grown the Cerasus Mortem fig variety, but The Fig Hunter was kind enough to send us a sample.
It seems that The Fig Hunter has updated his descriptions of this variety. Originally David sent me a sample with the label “TFH-187c Possible Edible Caprifig”. He now lists this variety as “Cerasus Mortem (TFH-187)”.
Tastes like honey and dried pineapple.
After the first fig tasting, I had high hopes for the Jebba fig variety, but didn’t perform in our orchard. Not sure why, but I decided I had too many other good figs to take up my space and time.

The Olga fig variety is an excellent blend of very sweet grape🍇, strawberry🍓, and banana🍌.
Since we had so many varieties from the Adriatic fig family, and our JH Adriatic was in a poor location, we had it slated for the chopping block. HOWEVER, it became LOADED with figs in 2025, and I couldn’t bring my self to get rid of it.
