We have not grown the Gunner Unknown fig variety, but The Fig Hunter was kind enough to send us a sample.
This was a somewhat insipid honey/sugar fig, but tasted it late season, in cool weather.
Maybe it is somewhat providential that I recently came across two messages that I gave over two decades ago. This is the first of those two messages. This was given in 2000, at the Cincinnati North congregation of the United Church of God. I have grown in my understanding since then, but there is much value in this presentation.

Since we had so many varieties from the Adriatic fig family, and our JH Adriatic was in a poor location, we had it slated for the chopping block. HOWEVER, it became LOADED with figs in 2025, and I couldn’t bring my self to get rid of it.
Maybe we have become so focused on the Sabbath, that we have missed something crucial about what God reveals about His very nature? This message is very preliminary. Do not take it for granted, as it has a MUCH greater significance as we proceed.
A few memories of the Third Annual Bubba Bash, in celebration of Neil Peart, over the weekend of January 4, 2025 at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA. It continues its mission of raising funds for Cedars-Sinai glioblastoma cancer research.
We love intense figs, and NdA is by far the sharpest berry fig we have tried.
