Purpura Verde
Though Purpura Verde is a unique fig variety, it is not very productive and the flavor just doesn’t stand up against some of our other fig varieties, so we have culled it.

- A common fig type, which does NOT require caprification

- A lightly sweet honey fig with honeydew melon and tropical flavors
Needs to hang MUCH longer beyond what looks and feels ripe. Needs to look like shriveled eggplant when fully ripe.
