Tropical Goldenberry Fig Variety Features

• A common fig type, which does NOT require caprification
• Still fairly rare
• From the Sacred Origin fig collection
• Typically, a small to tight ostiole
• Excellent tropical (guava or passion fruit?) flavor – very nice. Slightly acidic (which we like)

Not sure if the flavor is guava or passion fruit, but I recall having fruit while in Hawaii that was EXACTLY like this flavor.

Tropical Goldenberry was formerly known as Greenberry, but was renamed due to a conflict with another variety by that name.
