De la Roca Fig Variety Features
- A common fig type, which does NOT require caprification
- Highly-rated, premium variety, and one of my favorites
- From the Monserrat Pons fig collection
- Produces a breba crop
- Small to closed ostiole
- Handles rain well
- Very productive
- Fantastic fruity, berry, lightly balanced acidic flavor
This one just keeps getting better every year. Some classify DLR in the CdD fig family, but we find it has some Hivernenca qualities, though certainly not a synonym for Hivernenca.
